In this fun class, you will get 8 videos, a downloadable printable PDF of Kaleidoscope transfer designs, and an interactive forum where your teachers, Ilysa and Kira, will be available to you to help you when you need it. Polymer Clay is sometimes called “chameleon clay” because it can be sculpted, molded, stamped and colored and made to imitate almost anything.

You will learn the following skills:

  • How to transfer an image onto clay- from ANY image, using the best transfer method available. This is called Magic Transfer Paper, and you can get it in our supplies shop.
  • The best way to use Jones Tones Mylar foils (these can be tricky!)
  • How to create an alternative to the traditional leaf cane, and create a beautiful necklace
  • How to do a fun silkscreen technique to get a pattern onto the clay
  • Using stamps, inks, dyes, and inclusions to make your own art beads
  • Making your own magnetic components and clasps
  • And of course some basic jewelry assembly information (although this is NOT an extensive class on how to make jewelry- it is mostly how to use clay to make jewelry beads)
