Have you been scrapbooking for years and find yourself in the same old rut of add pictures, journaling and stickers, repeat? Do you find that your pictures are getting into your pages, but your entire story isn’t?
HI everyone! I hope this post finds you all doing well. We had a great Tuesday Shmoozeday this week with 3 live shows and great demos. Thank you to everyone who was there and chatted and everyone who watched our replays.
On my show I took empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls and showed you a few things you can do with them. It is endless the fun you can have with these but a few things I showed were book marks, a mini book and talked a bit about decorating them. You can watch the replay here and I also added a new video of another thing you can do on my youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/knittingandthings
Thank you all so much for all the support you give us! Many Blessings!!!!
In fact, you actually can do a whole lot of very cool techniques with them and if you missed my show yesterday during Tuesday Schmoozeday, I shared how I start a painting – and this time I’m using Pan Pastels and a wash method.
Lisa joined me today at Noon EST for a great time of giveaways, crafty chat and an art demo during my show 12 Questions. We talked about her creative life, and all kinds of awesome stuff. If you missed the interview, don’t worry, you can catch the replay. Click here to watch now!
We had a GIVEAWAY during the show and gave away 3 amazing prizes! Our winners are:
(Lisa will be contacting winning parties by email to arrange delivery of prizes).
Lisa also has a great workshop going on right now. Visual Texture on Cloth: Resists from the Pantry.
As winter looses it’s grip on the weather, spring flowers are beginning to make their appearance. Even in the dead of winter an arrangement of fresh flowers can bring a touch of summer into your home. Learn how to create a beautiful arrangement you can share with your friends and family.
Join me on CraftyLink at 11am on Tuesday April 16th. Work along beside me to create your OWN arrangement.
To work along with me please have 1-2 packages of supermarket flowers, a large vase, clear tape/oasis or a floral frog, water with floral preservative and a pair of scissors/pruners. Please open your bouquets and trim about 1/2″ off the stems of your flowers, then rest them loosely in a bucket of water. After the show you will find a document attached you can refer back to to help you recreate these beautiful arrangements.
I know you have been waiting for this very exciting and super fun interview, which is scheduled to live tomorrow at Noon EST. However, lovely Lisa has come down with the flu. Sooooo, this amazing interview is not off, it is just rescheduled.
Lisa will join us for her interview on 12 Questions on April 23 at Noon EST instead.
