Dreary Day and Inspiration

Isn’t it funny how a lot of people love summer for the first month and then by August are begging for fall (which in NJ is a week lol) and winter and then after a month of the cold temperatures are waiting for summer again? Well, sad to say I am one of them. I love the sunlight and looking out my window as I create. We are getting ready for hurricane Sandy to hit us in a day and the leaves are falling like crazy, raining beautiful shades of yellows, oranges, reds and browns.
So it go me thinking….hmmmm….what inspires me? Trees inspire me as I am a nature freak. I love beautiful trees but my favorite and most inspiring ones are the old, dead and twisted ones. They have such character and each tell a story to me. My animals inspire me as they are all rescues who were to be put down or in a puppy mill. We have rescued close to 20 years now and have rehabilitated so many so they can have new homes. It is a passion of mine as well as saving cats with leukemia. They are normally put down and I can’t stomach that so we save them and give them love until their time comes. But they are inspiring little things aren’t they? Oh!!! MUSIC! I think music might be in everything I do!
Oh I can go on and on now that I am thinking of it….So tell me…What inspires YOU?
