Art Journal Kit Revisited

// April 16th, 2012 // Mixed Media, Journals & Papercraft

I recently changed the way I carry my art journal goodies around, and added some fun stuff to my kit, too.

Thought I’d show ya!

I was using a cute little suitcase, but the zipper doesn’t close correctly, and small stuff was jumping out of the case.

I had to change it!

I picked up this cute 31 brand tote, and it’s PERFECT!

Here’s the view looking down into the tote.

In the clear container, I have some acrylic paints, gel medium, gesso, Glossy Accents glue, Stickles, and Dittos shimmer sprays.
Shimmer watercolors (I used up the first set), 2 sizes of circle punch, Miracle Tape, masking tape,
brayer (great for smooshing things down!)
Page protector holds bits of ephemera, chip board, etc.
I keep a few 6×6 stencils in the page protector as well.
Pouch with pens and a couple of drawing pencils, ruler, small pair of scissors.
Collapsable water container (from Ranger), large acrylic stamp mount.
Gelatos!!!
Pouch with random stuff for making marks- a couple different sizes of bottle caps, old gift card, toothpicks, etc.
TAPE!!!
Here’s an art jornal page I did yesterday.
